Dr. Osama H. Said

A graduate of North Carolina State University with degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics, Dr. Said earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. He is licensed to practice optometry in North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, and Florida.

Dr. Said has extensive experience in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT - alternative to laser vision correction) and surgery comanagement. His clinical rotations included the world renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. He is an avid fisherman and enjoys chess, diving, and all outdoor sports.

Dr. Asma Khan

Dr. Khan graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where she earned clinical honors for excellence in patient care and received the Feinbloom Low Vision Award. She completed her residency in ocular disease/low vision at the Chicago VA Hospital and managed a multitude of ocular entities requiring low vision rehabilitation.

Dr. Khan enjoys reading, traveling, arts and crafts, and volunteering her time in various humanitarian aid projects.


Dr. Gayatri Dhruva

Dr. Dhruva graduated from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA with degrees in Biology and Chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Optometry with honors from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During this time she received recognition for clinical excellence in primary care and ocular pathology. Dr. Dhruva completed her one year post doctorate residency program concentrating in ocular disease at W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. Most recently, she received the honor of being inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

In her free time Dr. Dhruva enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. She also hopes to continue participating in medical mission trips, which have allowed her to provide eyecare in remote and underprivilidged areas such as Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.

Dr. Gabrielle Fialka

Dr. Fialka graduated from North Carolina State University with an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. She continued her education in Memphis, Tennessee where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Fialka enjoys practicing primary care optometry with an emphasis on complicated contact lens cases. She also trained in the areas of ocular disease during her externship at Bennett & Bloom Eyecare in Louisville Kentucky. Dr. Fialka is a member of the American Optometric Association as well the North Carolina State Optometric Association. Dr. Fialka currently splits time between our Morrisville and Raleigh Locations.

Dr. Fialka is passionate about providing eyecare at the highest level for every member of the family. In her free time, she enjoys travelin and spending time with her dog Magnus. She is an avid Wolfpack fan.

Sharon Harris - Patient Satisfaction Specialist

Sharon started her career in the optometric field in 1983 and feels it was one of the best decisions she ever made. She has earned certificates in paraoptometry from both the NC Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Sharon has supplemented these certificates by acquiring continuing education regularly.

Sharon enjoys playing piano, singing, writing, traveling, and let's not forget shopping!


Nancy Williams - Insurance and Billing Specialist

Nancy started her career in optometry in 1991 helping a local optometrist file insurance claims. In an ever changing world of insurance plans, flex accounts and HMO's, Nancy brings a wealth of knowledge to our patients to answer their questions and expedite their claims. Nancy's desk is the easiest to locate, it is the one with a mound of paperwork!

Nancy is blessed with two wonderful children. She loves the beach, traveling and shopping, but nothing compares to spending time with her grandson.
